South West Institute of Technology is a State Training Provider providing a range of vocational education located in south west regional Western Australia. Established in 1946, the Institute now has campuses in Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River, Manjimup, Collie and Harvey. Historically it was also known by the names of Bunbury Technical School and South West Regional College of TAFE. As of 2010, the official name is the South West Institute of Technology (SWIT). ==Campuses and facilities== The institute currently trains around 6,000 students each year and operates at six (campuses ) in the south west of Western Australia: * Bunbury Campus * Busselton Campus * Margaret River Campus * Manjimup Campus * Collie Campus * Harvey Campus A new state of the art (Automotive Centre ) 〔http://www.bunburymail.com.au/story/1894060/world-class-automotive-facility-opened-at-south-west-institute-of-technology/〕 opened in 2013 offers courses in heavy auto, light auto and auto electrical training. The Institute operates the (Epicure Training Restaurant ) which is a training facility for hospitality and commercial cookery students.
